Ok, but seriously, I hate those covers too. How hard is it to just pay someone on Fiver for a cheap, OK looking cover art if you’re too lazy to take a day and your electronic drawing board to make it yourself? That just shows how lazy you are and how little you care about your book.

Salvos is an old series and a personal favorite. I was a part of the Patreon for years. Fantastic series. This came out before ai writing was a thing and is one of the better things to come out of royal road. If you like it also give Vigor Mortis a listen.

I think many of the commenters missed the point that this audiobook already has a great cover, and that this uploader simply replaced it with a shit LLM-generated one instead. For no apparent reason. Look at their other uploads. They do this for other books as well. I honestly don’t understand why someone would do this.

Doing that is just stupid, BelArtifex. Fair enough, I didn’t know this was an old series nor that the uploader has issues. It is nontheless true for all actual-AI-covered books and authors
